Every collection of beautiful plates deserves a place to shine, and this vintage brass plate rack turns a bare wall into a gallery. Standing an impressive 39 inches tall and 17 inches wide, it’s ready to show off three of your favorite large plates at Pollyanna’s Antiques.

Scrolls, Leaves and Graceful Curves

Every inch of this rack was designed to be looked at, even before the plates go up. A looped hanging ring crowns the top, with a pair of curled scrolls just below it. From there the frame sweeps outward into two elegant arms, each finished with a crisp leaf-shaped finial and a curling tendril. More scrolls and wrapped leaf accents trace the sides, and a small leaf drop finishes the bottom like a pendant.

The rack is as clever as it is pretty. Small hooks at each tier cradle the bottom edge of every plate, while figure-eight clips along the center rod hold the top secure. The result is a stacked display of three large plates that looks balanced and intentional, whether you choose a matched set or a mix of patterns.

Styling Ideas

Hang it in a dining room above a buffet, beside a kitchen window, or at the end of a hallway where it can catch the eye. Blue and white transferware looks crisp against the warm brass tone, colorful majolica feels cheerful and garden-fresh, and a trio of holiday plates makes it easy to decorate with the seasons. Even empty, its silhouette has the presence of a piece of wall art.

Come see it in person at Pollyanna’s Antiques, 287 North Avenue in downtown Mt. Clemens. We’re open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 to 4, and we have plenty of plates to help you fill it.
